In the Quantum Computation and Information group at the University of Bristol, we are interested in all theoretical aspects of quantum information science (foundations, nonlocality, entanglement, information theory, cryptography and computation), and in quantum optical experiments. This young field is currently undergoing rapid transformation. Its interdisciplinarity is reflected in the group being spread out over four university departments (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Physics).

Many of the group members are also part of the Centre for Quantum Photonics.
