Research activities:

The group aims at studying thin films and nanostructures for specific use, like emission, modulation, amplification or detection of optical signals
Materials under interest are organic materials, semi-conductors, nanoparticles, oxide thin films, photonic crystals. They are complex or composite materials for which fundamental studies establish the link between their microstructures and their optical properties. The materials are chosen for their potential applications which rely on the control of light emission and propagation, in a spectral range from near UV to Infrared.
