2. 1st Edition of the International Conference for Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS)

- When ? the 16th and 17th of November 2015;
- Where ? at the Institut d’Optique Graduate School (IOGS), principalement dans son Amphithéâtre et dans l’Atrium connexe (Access to IOGS);

This year, the GDR IQFA supports the 1st Edition of the International Conference for Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS). Initiated by Alain Aspect and Sébastien Tanzilli, and funded thanks to a fraction of the 2013 Balzan prize awarded to Alain Aspect, this conference is dedictaed to younf fellows (mainly PhD applicants and post-docs). Organized over 2 days, YQIS’15 represents a unique opportunity for young researchers to exchange with others about their own work and to establish their first professional network, in a simple and efficient manner.

Two internationally recognized experts will present tutorial talks during YQIS’15: Profs. Alain Aspect and John G. Rarity.

Looking forward to seeing a lot of participants in Palaiseau, during both YQIS and the 6th IQFA Colloquium, and wishing you a pleasant summer,
Best regards,
