Newsletter n°19 / August 2020

Dear all,

Two important points are outlined along this Newsletter:
1. IQFA organizes its 11th Colloquium — IQFA’11 at Université Grenoble Alpes, December 2-4 2020 !
2. The presentations of IQFA’X (2019) at the CNRS Headquarter are available for download.

Scroll down for more information.

1. IQFA’11th Colloquium — save the date

  • When ? December 02-04 2020;
  • Where ? at Université Grenoble Alpes;
  • Deadlines for registration and abstract submission : Sunday the 1st of November 2020, Midnight, Paris time;
  • Dedicated website: IQFA’11 (https://iqfacolloq2020.sciencesconf.org), where you can register, submit an abstract, and have all the necessary details to join us;
  • Due to the Covid-19 sanitary crisis, the number of "on-site" participants is limited to 150 people. All oral sessions will be made accessible to participants by visioconference (details will be given in September).

- As usual, the Colloquium is organized around 3 communication types :

  • Tutorial talks (1h), given by internationally recognized experts, are intended to establish a common basis of knowledge, from both foundation and advanced applied aspects;
  • Contributed/invited talks (30’) on the current hot topics within IQFA’s thematics (ARTs). This year again, the call is for poster contributions only, and among all the received contributions, the Scientific Committee will select 15 of them to be upgraded as invited oral contributions;
  • Posters Sessions to give the youngest the opportunity to present their work to the entire community, again within IQFA’s strategic thematics (ARTs).

- The Tutorial and invited Speakers who have confirmed their participation are:

  • Prof. Jason Petta, Princeton University, USA;
  • Dr. Craig Gidney, Google AI Quantum, USA;
  • Prof. Francesca Ferlaino, University of Innsbruck, Austria;
  • Prof. Elham Kashefi, CNRS, Sorbonne Université, Paris, France;
  • Dr. Igor Dotsenko, Collège de France, Paris, France;
  • Dr. Thierry Lahaye, Institut d’Optique, CNRS, Université Paris-Saclay, France;
