29th French National Days on Guided-wave Optics (JNOG), Besançon, 20-22 October 2010

by Sebastien_Tanzilli - published on , updated on

The national days on Guided-wave Optics (JNOG) gather annually, since 1980, the French-speaking community, both from the scientific and the industry sides, working in optical and quantum communication, integrated optics, lasers , sensors, instrumentation, and nanotechnologies.

Headed by the Club JNOG and the French Optical Society (SFO), the 2010 edition will be organized in Besançon, in the trading and industry chamber (CCI), in collaboration with the FEMTO-ST institute and the University of Franche-Comté.

For this 2010 edition, among the investigated thematics, we find "Optical and quantum communication", with Prof. John Rarity from the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at the University of Bristol as invited speaker.
