Investigated thematics (ART)

To Improve the dynamism of the GDR - IQFA, the board members have decided to settle research fields opened for reflection. On one hand, the idea is to develop a shared baseis of knowledge through specific actions (tutorials and round table discussions at the conferences organized by the GDR, solicitation of external members of the board for writing short state-of-the-art reports and current trend of these topics, etc.). On the other hand, it is to promote the production of new knowledge by means of brainstorming and discussions through the GDR in order to end up, if appropriate, to the establishment of new projects.

The life span of the main research fields should follow this way:

  • Initially, the members can register to the GDR within the research filed(s) of their choice.
  • The themes will actually "come to life" after the first conference held after the board members have explained in more detail what it is all about.
  • A bibliography will be established for each research field and will be published on the website of the GDR. The idea is to reference the review articles and those that have the most influenced the considered topic. To achieve this, people outside the GDR board will be asked to contribute to the establishment of these bibliographies.
  • Summaries about the state of the art and future trend of these topics will be written in collaboration with people outside the board and published on our web pages.
  • Round tables will be set up at conferences of the GDR in order to strengthen the dynamism within the research fields by means of discussion and synthesis.
  • If appropriate, a "Journal Club" will be created within the fields to allow monitoring scientific progress more regularly.
