Aims and Organization of the colloquium
The GDR - IQFA organises its 4th and last colloquium, before its potential extension by the CNRS, at the University Paris Diderot - Paris 7 Sorbonne Cité.
In order to emphasize its opening-up to a broader community, the GDR organizes this colloquium in collaboration with the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (South) of
Taiwan. We will therefore welcome a taiwanese delegation of researchers working in the field of quantum information.
The main goal of this colloquium is to gather all the various communities working in Quantum Information, and to permit, along 3 days, to exchange on the recent advances in the field.
The colloquium will be organized along 4 communication modes:
- tutorial talks, having clear pedagogical purpose, on the very foundations and most advanced applications of the field;
- invited talks on the current hot topics within the strategic thematics (ARTs) identified by the GDR - IQFA. This year, the Scientific Committee (see below) calls for poster contributions only. Among all the received poster contributions, the Committee will select a tens of them to be upgraded as oral/invited contributions;
- poster sessions to give the youngest the opportunity to present their work to the entire community, again within the strategic thematics (ARTs) identified by the GDR - IQFA;
- a round table, at the end of the colloquium, will permit the various participants, speakers, and board of the GDR, exchanging views on the future actions to be carried out in the quantum information community.

Registration is free but mandatory.
- To register, please follow the link: Register to the 4th GDR - IQFA Colloquium
- The deadline for registering is extended to the 18th of October 2013 at 12:00 (Paris time).
This year, the Scientific Committee (see below) calls for poster contributions only. The Committee will the select, among all the contributions, a tens of them to be upgraded as oral/invited contributions. The selected contributions will be those representing the more striking advances demonstrated over the past year.
To contribute, it is necessary to submit a 1 page abstract in PDF format only. The LaTeX template and the corresponding PDF result merged in a zip file are available for download below.
- The deadline for abstract submission is extended to the 18th of October 2013 at 12:00 (Paris time).
- Thanks to send your abstracts to the email address IQFA_colloque2013_sub unice.fr].
